Obligations Following the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam
Ibn Mas'ud radhiallahu 'anhu said:
"Simple in the Sunnah is better than earnest in heresy." (Ibn Nasr, 30, Al-Lalikai 1 / 88 no. 114, and Al-Ibanah 1 / 320 no. 161)
Ibn 'Abbas radhiallahu' anhuma said:
"Keep you and stick with atsar beristiqamah and stay away from heresy." (Al-I'tisham, 1 / 112)
Al-Imam Az-Zuhri rahimahullah said:
Our previous Ulama always say: "Adhering to the Sunnah is safety. Studies were uprooted immediately, then enforcement of Islamic sciences are robustness, while the departure of the clergy will be lost anyway all of that (science and religion). "(Al-Lalikai 1 / 94 no. 136 and Ad-Darimi, 1 / 58 no. 16 )
Al-Imam Ahmad ibn Hambal rahimahullah said:
"Be careful you are, not to write any kind of expert problem ahwa ', little or too much. Stick with atsar Ahl and Ahl Sunnah. "(As-Siyar, 11/231)
Al-Imam Al-Auza'i rahimahullah said:
"Stick with the righteous ones atsar though all men reject and shun the opinion of the people (besides them) even though they decorate his words against you." (Ash-Shariah case. 63)

Self Introspection
Al-Imam Al-Hasan Al-Basri said:
"Truly a believer is responsible for himself, (he should therefore always) introspection ingredients Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala alone."
"It is reckoning (calculation of charity) in Yaumul Qiyamah later will feel lighter for a people who (used to) introspect themselves as long as the world, and indeed the reckoning will be cases which are very burdensome for people who make this issue as something that is not taken into account. "
"Truly a believer (if) were struck by something he admires so he whispered: 'By Allah, I really really really want you, and yours is very I really need. However, for the sake of Allah, there is no (reason syar'i) that can menyampaikanku to you, then stay away from me as far as possible. There is a blocking of me with you '. "

Love Is a Sin Big World
Al-Imam Al-Hasan Al-Basri rahimahullah said:
"It is no wonder I feel about something like astonishment of people who do not think love the world as part of a major sin.
By Allah! Really, really loved him, including the biggest sin. And not the sins of the branching of the world but of love. Does not cause worshiped statues as well as Ar-Rahman dimaksiatinya not because of love the world and more mengutamakannya? (Mawa'izh Al-Imam Al-Hasan Al-Basri, things. 138)
Al-Imam Sufyan Ats-Tsauri rahimahullahu said:
"It has reached me that a time will come to mankind in which at that time was carefully filled with the love of the human world, so be careful not to enter the fear of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala.
And it can you know when you meet a leather pouch with something until full, then you intend to incorporate other items into it but you do not find a place for him. "
Rahimahullahu He also said:
"Really I can actually recognize one's love to the world of the (way) tribute to world experts."

Treasure-ugliness ugliness
Al-Imam Sufyan Ats-Tsauri rahimahullahu said:
'Isa ibn Maryam' alaihissalam said: "Love the world is the base of all the mistakes, and on the property there is a disease that very much."
He asked: "O my soul (creation) of Allah, what their diseases?"
He replied: "Not redeemable debt."
They retorted: "If the right has been accomplished?"
He replied: "No survivors from the proud and brag."
They replied: "If the survivors of the proud and arrogant?"
He replied: "Beautify and mempermegahnya will occupy from dhikrullah (remembrance of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala)."

Rahimahullahu He said:
"The advantage of the world is an abomination in the sight of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala on the Day of Resurrection."
He asked: "What is the excess of the world?"
He replied: "That you have excess clothing while your sister naked, and you have a surplus of shoes while your brother did not have footwear."

Patience When Getting Accidents
Al-Imam Al-Hasan Al-Basri rahimahullahu said:
"Kindness is no evil to him was grateful when wal afiat healthy, and be patient when tested with a disaster. How many human beings who are endowed with various pleasures but not grateful. And how many people are overwritten an unfortunate but would not it be patient. "(Mawa'izh Al-Imam Al-Hasan Al-Basri, things. 158)
Rahimahullahu He also said:
"It is not a servant to hold something bigger than the hold of al-hilm (modesty) in times of anger and hold patience when disaster struck." (Mawa'izh Al-Imam Al-Hasan Al-Basri, p.. 62)
Al-Imam Sufyan Ats-Tsauri rahimahullahu said:
"Three things which are part of patience; you do not tell the calamity that befalls the middle, nor pain you have suffered, and does not recommend yourself." (Al-Imam Sufyan Mawa'izh Ats-Tsauri, p.. 81)
Various Objectives in Calls for Science
Ibn Mas'ud radi 'anhu said:
"Do not study science because of three things: (1) in order sophist with stupid people, (2) to argue the scholars, or (3) human faces turned toward you. Look what's on the side of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala with words and actions. Because, truly my eternal, whereas otherwise it will disappear and go away. "(Jami'ul 'Ulum wal Hikam, 1 / 45)
Ath-Thiba Ishaq ibn 'rahimahullahu said: I heard Hammad ibn Salamah rahimahullahu said: "Anyone looking for (science,-pen.) Hadith to other than Allaah, then Allaah will make it treason."
Waki 'rahimahullahu said:
"It is not our lives but in a cover. If the cover is exposed, will undoubtedly show a great case, the honesty of intention. "
Al-Hafiz Adh-Dzahabi rahimahullahu said:
"Demanding science which is the case that mandatory and Sunnah are very stressed, but sometimes becomes something that is reprehensible in some people. Just as someone who studied in order to walk together (synchronized,-pen.) With the scholars, or in order to argue coachman people stupid, or to turn the human eye at him, or so exalted and placed forward, or in order to achieve world, wealth, status and high position. This all is one of the three classes of human ignited fires of hell (in return,-pen.) For them. "

Prohibition Berfatwa Without Guidance Salafush Salih
Al-Imam ash-Shafi'i rahimahullahu said:
"Anyone who says something with their desires, which no one imampun who preceded him in the matter, whether the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam or his companions, then indeed he has entered into a new case in Islam. Indeed the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam has said:' Whoever is making this up or invent a new case in Islam, for him the curse of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, angels, and all mankind. Allaah does not accept any infaq and ransom him '. "
Al-Imam Ahmad rahimahullahu said to some of his students:
"Be careful you are, (do,-pen.) Utter any single issue (in the religion of the pen.) That you do not have a priest (salaf,-pen.) In the matter."
Rahimahullahu He also said in the history of Al-Maimuni:
"Whoever says something that no priest above it, I'm afraid he will be wrong."
Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar rahimahullahu said:
"As for the priests and the scholars Ahl-ul-Hadith, indeed they all follow the hadeeth saheeh hadith is what it is when practiced by the Companions, the generation after them (tabi'in) or a group of them. As for something that is agreed upon by salafush deeds to abandoned it should not be done. Because it is not real but they left it on the basis of science that matter is not (proper,-pen.) Done. "

For Loss of Religion
Abdullah ibn Mas'ud said:
"Do any of you guys to anyone in the matter of dogmatic religion, so if he had faith (you) come when believers and unbelievers he (you) were also infidels. If you want berteladan, take the examples of people who have died, because the living is not safe from slander ".
Abdullah ibn Ad-Dailamy said:
"For the first loss of this religion is the abandonment of As Sunnah (teachings of the Prophet). This religion will disappear Sunna Sunna as the escape rope to a piece by piece ".
Abdullah ibn 'Athiyah said:
"It is not an act of heresy in religion but Allah will deprive themselves of the Sunnah that semisalnya. And Sunnah it will not return to them until the Day of Resurrection ".
Az-Zuhri said:
"Our former scholars are always reminded that hold fast to the Sunnah is safety. Science will be revoked immediately. The resilience of religion and science is the robustness of the world while the loss of science then lost it all anyway ".

Do Useful Things
'Umar ibn' Abdul 'Aziz rahimahullahu said:
"Whoever thinks his words are part of the act (undoubtedly) be a bit of his words, except in cases that benefit him."
'Umar ibn Qays al-Mula'i rahimahullahu said:
"Sseorang through Luqman (Al-Hakim) when humans huddled at her side. The person is said to Luqman: "Are not you the sons of former slave Fulan?" Luqman answered: "Yes."
The man said again, "Thou who used to herding (cattle) in the surrounding mountains and such?" Luqman answered: "Yes."
The man asked again: "Then what cause you took the position as I see it?" Luqman answered: "Always be honest in utter silence and a lot of matters are not useful to me."
Abu 'Ubaydah narrated from al-Hasan al-Basri rahimahullahu that he said:
"Including berpalingnya signs of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala than a servant of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala is busy making in matters that are not useful for him."
Sahl At-Tustari rahimahullahu said:
"Those (like) talk about issues that are not necessarily forbidden him benefit of honesty."
Ma'ruf rahimahullahu said: "Talk of a servant of the issues that have nothing boondoggle is a debasement of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala (for him)."

People Who Can Not Taken science
Abdur-Rahman ibn Mahdi rahimahullahu said:
"There are three (classes) that should not be taken in knowledge, (namely): (1) A person accused of a terrible lie, (2) People of the heretic who invites (men) to kebid'ahannya, and (3) a person who himself is dominated by doubts and mistakes. "
Al-Imam Malik rahimahullahu said:
"There should be someone to take science out of four (human type) and in addition may take it from them (namely): (1) Science is not taken from fools, (2) is taken from the passions of imitators who calls human beings to their desires, (3) Not all of an ordinary liar who lied in the discussions, although not the accused man lying on the hadiths of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, (4) Not all of a sheikh who has the virtue, as well as expert keshalihan worship but he did not longer knew what he was talking about. "(n-Nubadz fi 'Adab Thalabil' Ilmi, p.. 22-23)
Accidents
Al-Imam Al-Fudhail bin 'Iyadh rahimahullah said:
"Cry of the people you are overwritten disaster. If your sins greater than their sins (which is overwritten disaster, red), then there is a possibility you'll be punished for the sins you have done, as they had received his sentence, or even more awesome than that. "( Mawa'izh Al-Imam Al-Fudhail bin 'Iyadh rahimahullah things. 73)
"Verily, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala really promising test for the presence of His servants who believe, as a person intestate would be good to his family." (Mawa'izh Al-Imam Al-Fudhail bin 'Iyadh rahimahullah things. 111)
"There is no greater calamity of calamities that befall us, (where) one of us read the Quran night and day but did not practice it, while all of them are treatises of our Lord to us." ( Mawa'izh Al-Imam Al-Fudhail bin 'Iyadh rahimahullah things. 32)
Rahimahullah Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah said:
"A believer is different from the pagans because he believes in Allah and His Messenger, confirming what was preached by the Apostles, that they obey all orders and follow what is blessed and loved by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. And instead of (resigned) to the terms and his destiny in the form of kufr, godlessness, and immorality-immorality. However, (as) he was pleased to calamities that befall him instead of disgraceful deeds he had done. So against his sins, he beristighfar (for mercy) and with the calamities that befall him to be patient. "
