Come, pray in congregation!Saturday, 25-June-2011, Author: Islamic Bulletin AL-SCIENCE
The reader rahimakumulloh, the five daily prayers of Islam is one of the very great syi'ar more noble. It even includes one of the pillars of the five pillars of Islam. Such a high position in the Islamic prayer so that when Allah 'azza wa jalla lower orders do not pray as other deeds. The drop command did not pray five times through the intermediary angel Gabriel 'alaihis salaam, but delivered directly to the Prophet Muhammad' alaihi wa sallam in Sidratil Muntaha in the event of Isra 'and Mi'raj. All this shows the high position of the five daily prayers in Islam.
The reader rahimakumulloh, for us men are commanded to perform the five daily prayers in congregation at the mosque in a way, even a command to perform the five daily prayers in congregation directly from Allah Almighty. As in His word (which means):
"And establish prayer, pay Zakat and ruku'lah with those who are bowing." (Al-Baqarah: 43)
Al-Imam Ibn Kathir rahimahullah said: "Many of the scholars who argues with this paragraph obligatory prayers in congregation." (Tafsir Ibn Kathir)
Al-Imam Al-Qurtubi rahimahullah said: "Al-Imam ash-Shafi'i said:" I do not give relief for people who are able to perform prayers in congregation to leave without the 'udzur (reasons justified by the Shari'ah ). This is as narrated by Ibn al-Mundhir. "(Tafsir Al-Qurtubi)
Al-Imam As-Sa'di rahimahulloh also said that when interpreting the verse above: "The point: The prayer with those who pray, then in command contained in this paragraph and the obligatory prayers in congregation." (See Taisirul Karimir Rahman)
The reader rahimakumulloh, regardless of differences of opinion concerning the legal scholars prayers in congregation, which is important to understand is that the command to perform prayer in congregation is directly from Allah Almighty and has also been practiced by the Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam and the companions and the Muslims who follow in their footsteps until the present.
The scholars who argue that the prayer in congregation is Sunnah mu'akkadah (highly emphasized sunnah) they never leave without 'udzur and still implement it in congregation, because they understood that the legal Sunnah is not to be left to be implemented especially sunna mu' akkadah. Even the thought Sunnah mu'akkadah also stated: "Those who are accustomed to leaving the congregation without a prayer 'udzur (reasons justified by the Shari'ah), then it is obligatory for him to be punished." (See Tafseer Al-Qurtubi)
Therefore, let's! we increase the spirit to perform the five daily prayers in congregation at the mosque in a way, because it is a commandment of Allah Almighty and His Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam, so that we can achieve virtues-virtues and avoid the threats to the left the congregation without a prayer 'udzur.
Working on the primacy of prayer in congregation in the mosque
Here are some important advantages for people who perform prayers in congregation at the mosque five times, including:
1. Gets the shade of Allah Almighty on the Day of Judgement
Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam said:
سبعة يظلهم الله يوم لاظل إلا ظله: الإمام العادل, وشاب نشأ في عبادة ربه, ورجل قلبه معلق في المساجد ...
"Seven people whom Allah will shade them in one day (the day) that there is no shade except His shade; (among others) A fair ruler, the youth who grew up in obedience to his Lord, someone whose heart is always connected with the mosque, .... "(Agreed upon)
Al-Imam An-Nawawi rahimahullah explained that what is meant by 'a person whose heart is always connected with the mosques' in the above hadith is a Muslim who is deeply in love against the mosques and always praying in congregation in it. (See Al-Minhaj)
2. Received assurance from God 'Almighty in the world and the Hereafter
Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam said:
ورجل راح إلى المسجد فهو ضامن على الله حتى يتوفاه فيدخله الحنة
"Someone who goes to the mosque, then he got the assurance from God until God mewafatkannya and put it into Al-Jannah (Paradise)." (Abu Dawud no. 2494)
3. Losing the sins and the lifting of some degree
Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam said:
"Will you show me a deed by which God will eliminate sin, and lifted him how many degrees? They replied: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah ". He said: "Improving the wudu 'in difficult circumstances (difficult), multiply the steps towards the mosque, and waiting for the prayer after prayer, because that's so-called Ribath." (Reported by Muslim, no. 251)
4. Got a reply like pilgrimage
Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam said:
من خرج من بيته متطهرا إلى صلاة مكتوبة فأجره كأجر الحاج المحرم
"Whoever comes out of his house in a state of wudoo 'for prayer five times (in congregation in the mosque), then the reward like the reward of Haj which berihram." (Abu Dawud no. 554)
5. Got a perfect light on the Last Day
Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam said:
"Give good news for many people who walk in darkness toward the mosque, with a perfect light on the Day of Resurrection." (Abu Dawud no. 561)
6. Provided to him Al-Jannah
Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam said:
من غدا إلى المسجد أو راح أعد الله له في الجنة نزلا كلما غدا أو راح
"Whoever goes to a mosque in the morning or evening, Allah Almighty will provide a place for him in Al-Jannah (Paradise, ed) every time he went in the morning and evening." (Agreed upon)
7. Received twenty-five / twenty-seven degrees than praying alone
Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam said:
صلاة الجماعة تفضل صلاة الفذ بخمس وعشرين درجة
"Prayer in congregation is more primary than praying alone by acquiring twenty-five degrees (in another narration: twenty-seven)". (Agreed upon)
Threats Against the person who did not pray in congregation
Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam in his saying threaten some people who did not attend the prayers in congregation at mosques in the absence of 'udzur (reasons justified by the Shari'ah). The threats of the Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam was used as the argument for the necessity of prayer in congregation believes. Among the threats of the Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam is:
1. His heart is closed to the mercy of Allah Almighty
Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam said:
"It ought to stop people from leaving the prayer in congregation or (if not) surely Allah Almighty will completely shut down their hearts, then they must be among those who fail." (Reported by Ibn Majah no. 794)
2. Reluctant to act like a prayer congregation hypocrites
Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam explained that among the properties of the hypocrites are reluctant to perform prayers in congregation, as in his saying:
"There is no prayer that is most severe for the hypocrites than the dawn prayer (dawn, red) and the evening '." (Reported by al-Bukhari, no. 657)
3. Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam threatened to burn the houses of people who are reluctant to attend prayers in congregation
Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam said:
"By the Essence of my soul in His hand, I really want to send to collect firewood and then I was told to voiced prayer, then I order a person to become a priest, then I went out toward them (men who did not attend the prayer berjama ' ah) and then I burn their houses and their occupants. "(Reported by al-Bukhari, no. 644)
So loud threats Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam for people who are reluctant to perform prayers in congregation. Therefore, a Muslim should not not attend the prayers in congregation at the mosque five times a day.
The reader rahimakumulloh, know that that was ordered to attend prayers in congregation in the mosque are men only. So it is not proper for a Muslim man who truly believe in Allah 'azza wa jalla disparaging about the prayer in congregation in the mosque.
As a Muslim woman, there is no prohibition to pray in congregation at the mosque, although the women pray at home is better for him. It is based on the words of the Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa sallam:
لا تمنعوا نساءكم المساجد وبيوتهن خير لهن
"Do not forbid your wives to go to the mosques (in order to perform prayers in congregation), but their prayers in their houses is better." (Reported by Abu Dawud and Ahmad)
Al-Imam Al-Abadi'Azhim rahimahulloh explain sentence
وبيوتهن خير لهن
"And their homes better for them."
That is their prayers in their houses is better than their prayers in the mosque if they know it. But because they do not know, then they ask to go to the mosque and believe that the reward is greater.
Why do they pray in his house more mainstream? Because so much safer than slander. (See 'Aunul Ma'bud)
Finally, I hope this simple article can open the hearts of our brothers who had been away from the mosque, and further strengthen our brothers who are always routinely pray in congregation at the mosque. Ya ameen Rabbal 'alamiin.
Wallahu a’lam bish shawab.
